Airport Information for Travellers

Duty free allowances apply to passengers entering and leaving Australia.

Each adult is allowed the following items:
• 2 x 1125ml of alcoholic beverage (must declare everything over 1 litre)
• 250 cigarettes or 250 grams of tobacco products
• $400 worth of other goods
• unlimited fragrance for personal use (excluding concentrates)
Each adult over 18 years is allowed A$400 worth of other goods, while each child is allowed A$200. Alternatively, you can combine your allowances on the one declaration with your immediate family (maximum 2 adults per family), which means 2 adults and one child = A$1000.
