Visitors Visa
Australia has entry visas specifically
for visits by people coming to Australia for tourism,
to visit friends or relatives, or for short-term study.
The visa options are:
| |
Short
Stay Visitors Visa,
for stays of three months or less. Visitors may
travel and pursue a short course in Australia
within the three months with this visa. |
|
Long
Stay Visitors Visa, for stays between
three and six months. Same condition applies for
study rights but the cost of this visa is higher
than the short stay visitors visa. If you are
interested to pursue a course commencing for more
than three months, you must apply for Students
Visa. |

How to apply for Visitors Visa?
Please note - there are no rights to work if you are
travelling to Australia on a visitor visa (that is,
as a tourist). However, the Work
Holiday Visa offers some young people
the chance for incidental work as part of their travel.
